A Max for Live MIDI effect for Ableton Live 12 designed to address the performance gap between sampler devices and midi clip playback. Thus, It plays back MIDI clips the way a sampler plays audio. Drop in a .mid file, grab a clip from your Set, or record straight into it. Then play the whole phrase from any key, transposed, looped, reversed or stretched to the tempo. Switch to Slice mode and the clip is cut into slices across your keyboard, by transient, beat, equal regions or your own markers. It’s a fast way to flip phrases, chop up drum patterns and turn any MIDI idea into something new.
